Where the Crawdads Sing is the story of the challenges faced by Kya in her life after she is abandoned by her entire family. Despite being rejected and shunned by most people she manages to survive alone in the marsh by learning all the secrets of the wilderness.

Kya is the heart and soul of this book. I was baffled at the calmness of the little girl even when she had no one at her side. It's been a while since I read a romance novel so the naive young love between her and Tate made me smile often. The storytelling is warm and sweet with wonderful nature descriptions. Combining romance with murder gave me something to look forward to throughout. My favorite scene for some reason is the one where she compares the people in the courtroom to different birds. The way it ended is the best part of it. The poem at the end gave me literal goosebumps. It easily became one of my favorites reads this year.

Brutal crackdown by the government could not deter people from coming out of their homes and heading towards Islamabad

 The government’s crackdown on PTI workers and supporters made it clear that they have decided to stop PTI’s Independence March at all cost. News reports say more than 1,000 PTO workers and activists have been arrested.  The government has called in the Rangers to maintain law and order in Islamabad and other major cities of the country, including Karachi. All entrances and exits to and from Islamabad were shut down, as was traffic between Lahore and the Twin Cities. The government has also instructed transport companies not to offer buses, cars, or vans to PTI workers. The manner in which Shahbaz and its allies are using state apparatus to prevent people from participating in the march is not acceptable.  The #WeAreComingKaptaan hashtag tells us that brutal crackdown by the government could not deter people from coming out of their homes and heading towards Islamabad.  Look what this government is doing spreading broken glasses on the road.

 DDR4 memory is found on most personal computers. The next generation memory standard is coming out. Computers users expect increased performance and optimal power consumption  in the new chips.  If we focus on raw data, the main changes include a reduction in the voltage from 1.2V to 1.1V, and the 8n prefetch buffer will be replaced by 16n prefetch buffers, i.e. 16 bits per hour will migrate from memory cells to the IO buffer, while performance will be scaled from 3.2 Gbps to 6.4 Gbps per I/O connection. We can expect increased performance as some memory makers  have managed to enhance JEDEC specifications for DDR4.  The design of the DDR5 memory modules is based on 288 needles.
