UAE top officials contact army chief, resolve to help flood victims



The top officials of the United Arab Emirates have contacted the Army Chief, in which they have vowed to provide full assistance to the flood victims.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), the top officials of the United Arab Emirates have contacted Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

ISPR said that during the communication, the Army Chief informed about the relief mission in the flood affected areas.
ISPR said that in the meantime, the top officials of the UAE have announced an immediate increase in aid to the flood victims in Pakistan, saying that 20 flights containing relief goods from the UAE will come to Pakistan.

Army Chief appeals for help to flood victims:

 Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa appealed to the flood victims and said in his statement that I have been visiting the flood affected areas for a few days, yesterday I visited Othal and Bela areas of Balochistan and today I came to Khairpur Sindh. Yes, there is a lot of destruction here.
