The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) of Pakistan met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and told him that they are very worried about the Sindh government not following through on agreements.

MQM Pakistan delegation met with the PM

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui led the MQM delegation to an important meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad. Sindh Governor Kamran Tesuri, Wasim Akhtar, and Faisal Sabzwari were also there, as well as Rana Sanaullah, Saad Rafique, and Ayaz Sadaq, who were with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Governor Sindh told the prime minister what the MQM was worried about. Sources say that MQM made it clear that local elections without constituencies would be pointless, so constituencies should be made first and then elections. Constituencies are an important point in our agreement. It will not be fair with Sindh.

The MQM delegation was also very worried about the People's Party not following through on the agreement. They accused the Prime Minister of not changing the Local Government Act and not putting 140A into effect.

The MQM leaders spoke to the Prime Minister and said, "You and Maulana Fazlur Rehman were the guarantors of the People's Party agreement. Now you decide what should be done. Six months are about to pass, a lot of time has passed, and the agreements are not being carried out. Now we have to decide what to do." We need to make a choice soon, so if the People's Party doesn't agree, let us know.

Sources say that Vir Azam Shehbaz Sharif told him, "You are an important ally. The agreements made in the federation and the province will be kept. Karachi can't be left alone like this."

The Prime Minister told the MQM group that he will talk to Asif Zardari and Bilawal himself.

Sources say that Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Faisal Sabzwari are still in Islamabad, but that Sindh Governor has already left for Karachi after the meeting.

Sources say that the Sindh Governor has told the MQM's coordination committee in the Local Government Act everything that needs to be known. is likely to be trusted by all of the important leaders in this area.
