Jail Bharo movement is a protest against the perpetrators of economic destruction, Imran Khan

Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that today we are launching 'Jail Bharo Movement' under two basic motivations and goals for real freedom.

Imran Khan's statement came at a time when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers will take to the streets of Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, today to launch a 'Jail Bharo Movement' in which 'more than 200 supporters' will be arrested.

In a statement issued on social media, the PTI chairman said that today we are launching the jail bharo movement under two basic motivations and goals for real freedom.

The former prime minister said that the first objective of our movement is a peaceful and non-violent protest against the invasion of the fundamental rights we have under the Constitution, we are facing fake FIRs, NAB cases, custodial violence, attacks on mainstream media and people associated with social media.

The former prime minister said that the second objective of the movement was to protest against the gang of criminals who looted billions of rupees of the nation and sent them out through money laundering and by taking nro themselves, crushing the people, especially the poor and middle class under the burden of rising inflation and unemployment, who handed over the nation to the worst economic disaster.

The PTI's social media wing was busy throughout the day preparing for the jail bharo movement, while party workers and leaders shared messages encouraging their supporters to be part of the 'phased' arrest campaign.

As a Pakistani I think Imran Khan should sit with the opposition parties and try to steer the country of out crisis. This kind of political campaign will further destabilize the country.

Imran Khan knows well that the government in power will harshly deal with its supporters, which could result in the deaths of many workers, which could result in violence across Pakistan.

PML N will try every dirty trick to suppress them.
